The Daily can be translated as the "Continuation." The Continuation represents the New Testament Church as the people who continued in the Covenant. The Place of his sanctuary can be viewed in multiple ways. Some view this as the place of the literal sanctuary in Jerusalem during the time of Antiochus, while others view this as the Heavenly Sanctuary. 

The Ottoman Empire did not take away a literal or figurative sanctuary from God's people.

Antiochus Epiphanes did take away the literal earthly sanctuary from God's chosen people when he forced them into Pagan sacrifices in their temple.

Here, I believe it represents the place of God's Church which was based in the Roman Empire. When persecution arose, the place of its sanctuary in the known world was taken away.
